1st Block: Students had time to work on their Act III packet over The Crucible before we finished reading all of Act III.
2nd Block: We worked on finishing the graphic organizer chart of Odysseus as epic hero and turned that in. Then we watched the end of the film over The Odyssey. We then had a power point presentation over writing an argumentative essay, with a notes page to go along with it. We will be writing an argumentative essay about Odysseus, our epic hero in The Odyssey.
3rd Block: We talked about epic similes and had a worksheet. Then we worked on all the questions in the book over Part 2 of The Odyssey. Finally, we finished watching the film.
