1st block: The Crucible

Thursday:
We worked on the Act I packet and turned it in. Then we finished watching the movie up to the end of Act I.

Friday: We read Act II of The Crucible and handed out Act II packets.


2nd block: The Odyssey

Thursday:
We worked on the graphic organizer chart and continued reading Part II of The Odyssey.

Friday: Read Part II and did both "Odysseus's Log" and questions 1-4 on p. 1008.


3rd block: The Odyssey

Thursday:
Journal: What can't you leave home without?
We worked on the graphic organizer chart and continued reading The Odyssey.
After lunch, we watched part of the movie.

Friday:
Journal: movie review of the movie thus far. Turn in journals.
Read part 2 of The Odyssey, then after lunch watch the movie.
